ABOUT THIS PROJECT

A retail space should do more than display products. It should make people want to stay.

The Woven Light Boutique is a retail and showroom interior project built around one idea — that shopping should feel like an experience, not a transaction. Every material, every display, and every corner was designed to draw customers in, slow them down, and make them feel completely at ease.

This project was designed by Kanon Talukder prior to the founding of Elora Interior — reflecting the retail design expertise he brings to every commercial project at our studio today.

PROJECT CONCEPT

The design celebrates natural materials in their most honest form.

A dramatic oversized rattan pendant light anchors the entire space from above — warm, textural, and impossible to ignore. It sets the tone for everything below. Timber slatted ceiling panels extend outward from it, creating a canopy effect that makes the space feel intimate despite its open floor plan.

Display fixtures were designed entirely in warm oak and natural wood — open shelving, arched alcoves, and tiered display tables that present products beautifully without competing with them. Trailing greenery was incorporated throughout, softening the space and adding life to every corner.

The floor plan was carefully designed around customer flow — a central circular display table creates a natural gathering point, while seating areas invite customers to pause, sit, and engage with the space rather than simply pass through it.

Textured plaster walls, jute rugs, and white bouclé seating complete the palette — creating a space that feels effortlessly warm, natural, and refined.

THE RESULT

A boutique that customers remember long after they leave.

Warm, welcoming, and beautifully considered. A retail space that sells not just products — but a feeling.
