ABOUT THIS PROJECT

A workplace should do more than house desks and screens. It should inspire the people who work in it.

The Terracotta Work Studio is a commercial office interior project built around one belief — that a well-designed workspace directly impacts how people think, collaborate, and create. Every decision in this project was made with the human experience at its center.

This project was designed by Kanon Talukder prior to the founding of Elora Interior — a testament to the commercial design expertise he brings to every project at our studio today.

PROJECT CONCEPT

The design draws its energy from two contrasting yet complementary forces — the warmth of terracotta and the calm of biophilic greenery.

Rich terracotta accent walls and ceiling panels create a sense of energy and identity throughout the space — bold enough to inspire, refined enough not to overwhelm. Suspended greenery, vertical plant partitions, and hanging installations bring nature directly into the workspace — reducing visual noise and creating a sense of calm within an active environment.

Workstation layouts were carefully planned to balance open collaboration with quiet focus zones. Timber slatted partitions were used to define spaces without closing them off — maintaining openness and visual flow throughout the floor.

Exposed structural elements on the ceiling were retained and painted to complement the palette — adding industrial character while keeping the space feeling honest and unforced.

THE RESULT

A workspace that people genuinely want to be in.

Energizing yet calm. Open yet considered. A space that reflects the identity of the people who use it — and gives them every reason to do their best work.
